Heat pump for 365 days of swimming enjoyment

The heat pump may now be the standard in swimming pool country, but every device ultimately has its limits. For classic pool heat pumps, that limit is somewhere around 15°C outside temperature. If it is colder, the devices often fail to heat the water sufficiently. A bummer for those who want to enjoy their pool for nine or even twelve months in a sustainable way. This was also the opinion of cooling technician Kurt Munghen, who therefore looked for a solution in the HVAC world.

Big foot and hot water: a breeze

ROESELARE - The water features in wellness center Thermen R in Roeselare are heated with five Digipool® units, placed over seven meters. The units are set up in a limited space. In order to anchor them firmly, a strong but user- and maintenance-friendly Big Foot Systems frame was used via Linum Europe. The entire installation weighs approximately 700 kilograms.

Sauna Leeghof fights energy crisis with additional solar panels, heat pumps and solar water heater

BOOKHOUTE - For almost a year, Tom Ragaert (35) and Andy V.B. (38) have been the proud managers of Leeghof private sauna in the Graafjanstraat in Boekhoute. When they, as operators of a wellness business, were confronted with a sky-high energy bill, they decided to switch and resolutely pulled the card of sustainability. "On sunny days, we are completely energy independent," they enthused.
